Katrisha Zhao is an Australian born Chinese with a passion for contemporary arts. Having acquired a degree in Contemporary arts at the University of Tasmania, Australia, her medium of choice in arts is oil painting. Apart from being the co-owner of PaKat, she is also the co-organiser of Miri Artisan Market and a specialist art teacher at the centre. Katrisha’s arts are inspired by personal experience as well as local cultures. Her artworks have been displayed at exhibitions such as; Hidden treasures 2007 (Inveresk Gallery, Tasmania) Skies and Emotions 2008 (Inveresk Gallery, Tasmania) and Landscapes of a Rural Town 2008 (Sheffield Gallery, Tasmania).
