This contemporary artist Upai Balang has always had a hand for drawing since he was a young school boy. He realize his passion has strengthen for the arts during the Covid-19 lockdown. He is a self-taught painter who paints for his self collection although he used to paint batik art. Water colour, acrylic and oil paintings are his preferred mediums compared to colour pencils which he does enjoy using too. Upai Balang is a proud Lun Bawang and he ver much loves life outdoors!
